Part of the London Borough of Croydon, a local Government district of Greater London, it is one of the largest commercial districts in Greater London, with an extensive shopping district and night-time economy.

By Train

From London Bridge station take the Thameslink Brighton train and get off 13 minutes later at East Croydon station, the cost being £8 oneway. The other way, from Brighton up to Croydon takes 48 minutes and costs £14, unless you take the Southern service where it will cost you more.

If you are coming to the training venue from an airport try Express MiniCabs | Croydon Taxi Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, Luton

For affordable, reliable, and polite minicab.com is a good place to call.

Croydon Prestige Taxis live up to their name, with reviewers saying first class service.

By Bus

The venue is right in the middle of both East and West Croydon stations, easy walking distance from both so no bus will be needed. If you are coming in from London Bridge by bus 468 from Borough High Street stop. Get off at Whitgift centre, which is stop WJ. The venue is just around the corner.

By Road

If coming to Croydon from the south join the M23, then follow the A23 to Waddon train station, take a right on A232, then a left onto A212/Wellesley Street. Lansdowne Road is on the right, but you’ll have to do a loop to get back to it as it’s 1 way driving and the A212 splits into 2.

Parking

Close to the venue Ruskin Square Car Park and it is said to be safe and convenient.

Whitgift Centre Car Park is right next to your venue and has cheap rates at certain times, however, some have pointed out issues with false fining, and the machines being faulty.

With a 98/110 Walk Score Croydon is a place you can walk and find what you need.

The Whitgift Centre is opposite where you will be training, St George’s Walk is just up the road, and there are shops dotted all around to provide the essentials. If you want a stroll there are Wandle, and Park Hill Parks nearby.
